You´re idea is good, but it involves commersialism in a sense that is against a lot of my political and everyday thoughts. I´d rather see a network (community), where it costs to become a member, and that way you´d be getting access to the songs, rather than letting it be for free but letting art suffer under commersialism. I totaly agree with you that music is best without the involvment of money. At the same time I’ve realized that it’s the major labels that have “found” and spread most of the greatest music I listen to.
